Mr. Gunnar F. Lindqvist has more than 30 years of managerial and entrepreneurial experience from crude oil, petroleum products, electricity and maritime freight markets.
Mr. Lindqvist worked as a Senior Trader responsible for crude oil sales and supply operations in Norsk Hydro and Saga Petroleum from 1984 to 1990.
He then held the position of Director Financial Petroleum Derivatives at the Astrup Fearnleys London office until 1993 after which he became partner in the Spectron Group of companies during the period 1993 – 2002 pioneering the development of online trading platforms for oil products and Nordic electricity.
After having established and managed the Nordic office for the Dutch based physical petroleum brokerage company Starsupply, the company was eventually sold and became part of the stock-listed International Maritime Exchange (IMAREX ASA) where he was later appointed Managing Director.
From 2012 to 2015 he held the position as Global Fuel Sourcing Manager in CGG (Norway) AS managing supply of marine fuels, lubricants and chemicals.
He is founder and Managing Partner in the newly started Marine Fuel Services AS in Oslo where he is presently working as an advisor within the field of Marine Fuel Procurement.
Mr. Lindqvist holds a BA with Honours in Business Organisation from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. He is a Norwegian citizen and recides in Norway.
Mr. Bjørn Kløgetvedt has more than 30 years of operational and managerial experience from energy markets, shipping and financial products.
Mr. Kløgetvedt was a senior trader responsible for crude oil sales, supply, trading and risk management with the Refining and Marketing division of Norsk Hydro. Mr. Kløgetvedt served as Risk Manager Supply and Trading for Norske Shell, Oslo and Shell International Trading and Shipping (Stasco) in London.
When returning to Norway, he joined Den norske Bank (DnB Markets) as Manager financial products commodities. Following two years as Director of Energy Investment Funds, Mr. Kløgetvedt joined Western Bulk several years as Manager of marine fuel supply and financial products, followed by engagement as Marine Fuel Manager with PGS.
Mr. Kløgetvedt was appointed as Managing Director of Fund Management with Global Gateways, and served as General Partner and Member of Investment Committee.
He now serves as Senior Partner and Advisor in Risk Management and Marine Fuel Procurement with Marine Fuels Services AS.
Mr. Kløgetvedt graduated from Norwegian School of Business in 1985. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo, Norway.
Mr. Petter Dehli initially worked for several world class services providers in the shipping industry such as Unitor and Drew Marine. Petter then worked 6 years as Territory Manager for ExxonMobil Marine Lubricants until 2008 when he joined Veritas Petroleum Services (VPS) – formerly known as DNV Petroleum Services (DNVPS). First, he worked as Manager of Engine Performance Monitoring and latterly he was promoted as Area Manager for Scandinavia, Russia and the Baltics.
Petter has in-depth experience with maritime fuel testing and bunker quantity surveys delivering solutions that help ship operators achieve measurable improvements to fuel management, fuel cost, operational efficiency and compliance with marine fuel regulatory requirements.
Petter recently teamed up with Marine Fuel Services as an external industry advisor where he will provide expert advice within the field of fuel quality and surveys.
He holds a Ship Electrician degree from Oslo Technical Maritime College and a “Siviløkonom” diploma from NHH in Bergen after studying at University of Wyoming in the US. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Norway.
Mr. Jan Ivarsen worked for several years at major shipowners Odfjell and Kristian Jebsens Rederi during which time he spent some years in Montreal, Canada.
Later in the 80’s he was engaged in shipbroking with particular focus on product tankers trading with Japan.
In 1989 Jan went on to establish his own shipping company Seven Seas Carriers together with his partner and in 1994 he initiated Spar Shipping which he headed until 1996. The company is today one of Norway’s largest dry bulk owners with a fleet of 24 vessels.
During the following years Jan spent 7 years in Western Bulk and thereafter 7 years with Dampskibsselskabet Norden in Copenhagen.
Jan has been a board member for many Norwegian shipowning companies and has been Chairman of Bergen Shipping Forum.
Today he runs his own shipping company.
He holds a business degree from BI in Bergen. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo.
